Foreigners, as a rule, go on a trip with a minimum of things (and, therefore, with one small backpack).
Why carry heavy loads? After all, you can usually buy everything you need on the spot. Our compatriots strongly disagree with this statement of the problem.
Yes, you can buy on arrival what you “spoiled” to take from home. But, firstly, it will be necessary to specifically look for the right thing in an unfamiliar city, and, most likely, to overpay for it. Well nafig! Now I’ll check the 20 kg suitcase again for “what else have I forgotten”.
On the one hand, we ourselves understand that this is ridiculous, but on the other ... Prudence is never superfluous. And so we carry with us:
10. Cling film
Oh yeah! This is just a must-have for most Russian travelers!
The film is, firstly, a universal protection for a suitcase. If it is wound in 15-20 layers, then no attacker will ever get inside.
Moreover, this will simultaneously save luggage from scratches or getting wet (what if there is heavy rain on the street, and your suitcase will go aboard the aircraft in an open cart?). Secondly, now there is no need to pay for packing luggage at the airport.
In general, if you wish, you can protect anything with a film: from sandwiches to sneakers.
9. The boiler
What is it that our tourist basically cannot live on vacation (even if his hotel has an all inclusive system)?
That's right - without constant snacks and tea parties in the room (most often, of course, midnight). But teapots, alas, are not always here.
And then the good old boiler comes to the rescue. He does not take up space at all, but what good is it! You can not only boil water for tea or coffee, but also boil sausages (or even some more exotic food - for example, shrimp).
The main thing here is not to forget the adapter for sockets. And not that it can be very insulting that the boiler’s plug does not climb into the “piglet”.
8. Lunch box
Continuing the theme of snacks. We always chew something not only in the hotel room, but also on the road to the place of rest and back (hmm, and on excursions too).
Even on a plane, where they actually feed it, many take sandwiches, cookies, cheese, etc.
But if all this is simply folded into a bag (or wrapped in the same universal food wrap), then after a few hours “at the exit” you can get an unappetizing - crumpled and broken - mess.
Well, if you pack food in a compact lunch box, it will retain its attractive appearance, and wearing it in this form is much more convenient.
7. Slippers
Another masthead. It is not yet known whether the slippers in the room, and even their own, are somehow more familiar and reliable.
Well, maybe not slippers, but ordinary slates ... We also need to go around the hotel, to the beach, to the shower, etc. And if you still need to spend several hours (or days) on the train, then without sneakers at all!
6. Towel
Yes, we know that now almost every hotel (especially at resorts!) Provides each guest with not only one, but several towels at once.
What if you can’t take them with you (for example, to the beach)? It is necessary to throw something on the sand in order to sunbathe with comfort. Anyway, it’s its own, and it never hurts (especially if it’s a vivid version of the “tear out your eyes” type with blue waves of seagulls and palm trees, or a naked lady in full growth - we’ll joke, joke).
5. Plastic bags
In any incomprehensible situation, keep a bag with bags on hand! It’s impossible without them, from the word “in general”.
Firstly, you can neatly put different things into packages in a suitcase (for example, still clean and those that can already be safely delivered, and they will not fall).
Packages can be put on a bench wet after rain (or on sand wet after high tide on the beach). In them, again, one can store what may suffer from beach sand. Etc. Etc. That is, the pluses - the mass.
4. First aid kit
Most of us are well aware that anything can happen on a long journey, including injuries, sudden poisoning (the consequences of tasting all sorts of unusual products), etc.
Therefore, it is better to have at least a minimal “arsenal” of drugs and other medical devices.
If you take into account that in most countries where our tourists visit, you can’t even buy banal aspirin without a doctor’s prescription (and a visit to this doctor will cost you such an amount that you can buy an inexpensive car), then this becomes a real necessity.
Therefore, the first-aid kit is always with us (sometimes quite chubby).
3. Cosmetic bag
How to “identify” our girl on the beach of any country? Very simple: for the brightest swimsuit and perfect make-up.
And if you accidentally manage to see the contents of her large suitcase, then, most likely, a smaller “suitcase” will occupy about half the volume in it — it's a cosmetic bag.
And in that cosmetic bag ... No, decorative cosmetics - it goes without saying, just without question! And besides: moisturizing shampoo, firming shampoo, shower gel, thin hair conditioner, sunblock, after-sun gel, day cream, night cream, hand cream, foot cream (eye makeup, finally), body scrub ... UV ... And we have not yet listed half of the content.
Everything should be at hand! What if a prince is on the beach, but I haven’t made up? This is a real nightmare!
2. Curling iron or hair dryer
We continue the conversation about the appearance of Russian tourists. In addition to thorough make-up, many of our young beauties (and not very young too) want to have an ideal hairstyle - every day, regardless of, so to speak, living conditions and external circumstances. And in this case you can not do without a small neat curling iron (well, or without a portable hairdryer).
How can you even go out for breakfast without charming curls ?! Or for dinner in a hotel restaurant without diligently “scumbag” on the back of the head of a perky “bean”?
And by the way, with a hairdryer it’s also convenient to dry wet clothes (especially socks, - men know).
1. Sandals
And the finishing touch of the perfect look: stunning sandals. Moreover, the word “stunning” sometimes has to be taken literally: it doesn’t matter that the whole city where we spend our holidays is completely covered with old cobblestones - we will still persistently walk everywhere and everywhere (yes, to the beach too) on stilettos, slipping and stumbling. After all, elegant open shoes with high heels are so feminine and so sexy.
Although, in principle, ordinary sandals with a small (3-4 cm) heel, comfortable and maximally open, are really a great thing, especially in extreme heat.
